physiotherapy bowden
With 15 years’ experience as a qualified physiotherapist, Juliana combines a range of hands-on treatment techniques and movement therapies to prevent, diagnose and treat musculoskeletal or sporting injuries, pain conditions, chronic illnesses and keep you moving.
As a first contact practitioner, you don’t need a doctor's referral to book your appointment.
Initial Consultation
Comprehensive initial appointments provide the opportunity to listen to your needs. During your first appointment, I will get the full picture of your condition within your lifestyle, including whole body assessment, to develop a holistic and individualised treatment plan for ongoing health and wellbeing.
Manual therapy, education and exercise are an integral part of my approach to help you recover from injury, reduce pain and stiffness, improve mobility and muscle control and prevent further injury.
Treatment techniques include:
- myofascial and soft tissue release
- joint manipulation and mobilisation
- dry needling
- exercise programs
- muscle re-education
Initial Consultation
Our comprehensive initial physiotherapy appointments provide us the opportunity to listen to your needs and gather the full picture of your condition within your current lifestyle. We don’t just want to know what’s happening with your sore shoulder or back. We want to know what’s happening from your big toe to the top of your head and also what happened along the winding roads of your life to now. Your journey matters.
We’ll work with you to establish your goals and expectations for Physiotherapy and following a whole-body assessment, we will develop a holistic and individualised treatment plan for your ongoing health and wellbeing.
In this first visit, you can expect us take the time to explain what might be going on, provide some initial treatment and share our suggested treatment plan. We might also provide you with some exercises to continue your journey to wellness.
Ultimately this all means less visits to the Physiotherapist in the long run.
