Individual physiotherapy appointments
We understand that plans change and that illness and genuinely unforeseen circumstances occur. At the same time, appointments are reserved specifically for you and late changes can leave a time that cannot be offered to another person.
This policy applies to individual physiotherapy appointments provided by Centred Ground.

Appointment reminders
Centred Ground sends physiotherapy appointment reminders approximately 48 hours before the appointment. This is intended to give you time to make any necessary changes before the 24-hour cancellation deadline.
Reminders are a courtesy. Please keep a record of your appointment time and contact us as soon as you know you need to cancel or reschedule, even if a reminder has not been received.
If you are unwell or something unexpected happens
Please do not attend the clinic if you are unwell and may expose practitioners or other clients to illness. Contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss rescheduling.
Illness and genuinely unforeseen circumstances will be considered with understanding and discretion. This does not mean that every late cancellation will automatically be fee-free; the circumstances of the cancellation will be considered individually.
Why a fee may apply
Late cancellation and non-attendance fees recognise that a specific appointment time has been reserved and that short notice can make it difficult to offer that time to someone else. The late cancellation and non-attendance fees are lower than the standard consultation fee and are intended to balance this impact with reasonable flexibility for clients.
How to cancel or reschedule
Please contact Centred Ground as soon as possible if you need to change an appointment. You can call or text 0423 858 209. If you are unable to reach us immediately, leave a voicemail or send a text so there is a record of when you contacted us.
Other services and practitioners
This policy applies to individual physiotherapy appointments provided by Centred Ground. Independent practitioners at Centred Ground operate their own businesses and may have different cancellation policies. Any cancellation arrangements that apply to Strong Seniors, Coaching & Hypnotherapy or another Centred Ground service will be communicated as part of the relevant booking process.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. A cancellation fee will not be applied in a way that overrides a right you have under law.
